Welcome to Moobigo ("we," "our," or "us"). Moobigo provides a multi-vendor on-demand grocery, food, medicine, and e-commerce delivery platform via our mobile application and website. We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your personal information is handled safely and responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and your rights regarding your data when using the Moobigo Customer App and related services.

2. Information We Collect

To provide you with seamless ordering and delivery services, we collect the following types of information:

• Account & Contact Information: Your name, phone number, and email address when you register or sign in.
• Delivery Addresses & Location Data: Your saved addresses, landmarks, and precise/approximate GPS location (collected while using the app) to locate nearby stores, calculate delivery fees, and guide delivery riders to your doorstep.
• Order & Transaction History: Items purchased, total bill amounts, delivery instructions, delivery OTP, and payment method (e.g., COD, Online UPI).
• Device & Technical Data: Device model, operating system version, IP address, and Push Notification tokens (Firebase Cloud Messaging) to send live order status alerts.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following legitimate business purposes:

• To process, confirm, prepare, and deliver your food and grocery orders.
• To enable real-time map navigation and tracking for assigned delivery partners.
• To send critical push notifications (e.g., Order Confirmed, Out for Delivery, Delivery OTP).
• To provide customer support and issue refunds for damaged or missing items.
• To prevent fraudulent transactions and maintain platform security.

4. Payment Security

We do not store your credit card numbers, debit card details, CVVs, or UPI PINs on our servers. All online transactions are processed securely through certified, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (such as Razorpay / Stripe). For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, payment is collected directly by the delivery partner upon arrival.

5. Sharing of Information

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We only share necessary data with:

• Stores & Restaurants: Order details (item names, quantities, notes) and customer first name to prepare your package.
• Delivery Partners: Your delivery address, customer name, and contact phone number to deliver your order.
• Service Providers: Google Maps (mapping & geocoding) and Firebase (push notifications and authentication).
• Legal Obligations: If required by law, court order, or governmental authorities.

6. Data Retention and Security

We implement industry-standard SSL/TLS 256-bit encryption and secure database controls to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. We retain your transaction records only as long as necessary to comply with accounting, legal, and operational requirements.

7. Account and Data Deletion Request

You have full control over your personal data. You may request to review, update, or permanently delete your account and associated personal data at any time.

To request permanent account and data deletion:

• In the mobile app, navigate to Profile > Settings > Delete Account, or
• Send an email with your registered phone number to support@moobigo.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Your account and personal data will be purged within 48 hours.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for general audiences aged 18 and above (or minors under parental supervision). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements in our app features or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
